This lovely garden alongside the Tower of London is tucked inside the former church of St Dunstan’s in the East which is situated between St Dunstan’s Hill and Idol Lane.
The church was damaged in the Great Fire of London and destroyed during World War II bombing. The tower and steeple, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, survived.
The garden lies within the ruins of the church and contains a water feature on the site of the former nave. It’s a secluded and atmospheric garden that provides a quiet spot to sit.
